How do I create a mind map?

Go to the New Mind Map page, enter a topic in the sidebar, and click Generate. The AI will create a structured mind map instantly.

Is my data saved?

Yes! MindTrees automatically saves your mind map to your browser localStorage. Your maps persist across sessions in the same browser.

Can I edit nodes after generation?

Absolutely. Double-click any node to edit its text. You can also add, delete, or rearrange nodes using the context menu (right-click).

How do I export my mind map?

Click the Export button in the top-right corner of the editor to download your mind map as a JSON file.

Is there a limit on mind maps?

No, MindTrees is completely free. You can create unlimited mind maps. Storage is limited by your browser localStorage capacity.
